The 12th NERIS Workshop will take place at ASNR headquarters in Fontenay-aux-Roses, on 28-29-30 April 2026. The Workshop will run on 2,5 days (from 28th morning to 30th noon).
The workshop will provide presentations from PIANOFORTE projects related to NERIS and emerging topics of the community and international organizations.
Agenda
Presentations related to the following topics will be provided :
- Ongoing R&D related to the current NERIS Roadmap and beyond
- Radiological impact assessment
- Countermeasures and countermeasure strategies, decision support and disaster informatics
- Trans-disciplinary and inclusive framework for EPRR
- Recent and new development related to EPRR
- EPRR in armed conflicts, nuclear detonations,
- EPRR for New Nuclear Technologies.

The deadline to register is 20th March 2026. The registration fee is 300 €
Please fill in carefully this registration form, in particular on the Invoice part : the Order Number / Reference and indication of specific process or invoicing portals from your organization are very important for the creation of your invoices!
Payment is due after the reception of your invoices. Invoices are not generated automatically, expect delays up to some days to receive it.

The 11th NERIS Workshop took place at The Cumberland in London, as a satellite meeting of European Radiation Protection Week 2025, on 29th September for the full day (9:00 – 17:00).
It gathered around 50 participants and covered PIANOFORTE projects related to Emergency Preparedness Response & Recovery (EPRR) topics related to NERIS (CITISTRA, RRADEW, PREDICT, CATAPULT, GIROSCOPE) together with presentations on recent and new developmens related to EPRR.

Announcement
Following the 16th NERIS General assembly, Supporting Organizations renewed the following Management Board:
- College 1: Paulo Nunes (APA, Portugal); Florian Gering (BfS, Germany); Olivier Isnard (ASNR, France)
- College 2: Deborah Oughton (NMBU, Norway); Angelika Bohnsted (KIT, Germany); Spyros Andronopoulos (NCSRD, Greece); Pieter De Meutter (SCK CEN, Belgium)
The first Management Board after this renewal, held online on 7th July, maintains the previous composition for the Bureau:
- President: Olivier Isnard (ASNR)
- Vice-President: Florian Gering (BfS)
- Treasurer: Deborah Oughton (NMBU)
- Secretary: Pieter De Meutter (SCK CEN)
- Chair of the R&D Committee: Antony Bexon (UKHSA)
The Technical Secretariat is maintained at CEPN (representative: Pascal Croüail, senior researcher: Eymeric Lafranque)

The 16th NERIS General Assembly was held via online-meeting, on June 30th, 2025. The General Assembly was attended by NERIS Supporting Organisations and Members, to review activites from 2024 and discuss orientations for the platform. A new Management Board was elected.

The 12th NERIS Workshop will take place at ASNR headquarters in Fontenay-aux-Roses, on 28-29-30 April 2026. For the first time in years, this Workshop will run on 2,5 days and will focus on sharing experience and lessons learned from the past and recent events.
The workshop will provide presentations from PIANOFORTE projects related to NERIS (CITISTRA, PREDICT, RRADEW, CATAPULT, GIROSCOPE, ...) and emerging topics of the community and international organizations.
