The 12th NERIS Workshop will take place at ASNR headquarters in Fontenay-aux-Roses, on 28-29-30 April 2026. The Workshop will run on 2,5 days (from 28th morning to 30th noon).
The workshop will provide presentations from PIANOFORTE projects related to NERIS and emerging topics of the community and international organizations (see the call for abstracts). More information on the agenda will be shared in the coming months.
Call for abstracts
Abstracts related to the following topics are welcomed:
Ongoing R&D related to the current NERIS Roadmap and beyond
Radiological impact assessment
Countermeasures and countermeasure strategies, decision support and disaster informatics
Trans-disciplinary and inclusive framework for EPRR
Recent and new development related to EPRR
Resilience: EPRR in armed conflicts, etc.
New nuclear technologies: EPRR for SMRs/AMRs, etc.
Sustainability: EPRR relation with UN Sustainable Development Goals, etc.
Other abstracts related to EPRR are also welcomed.The deadline to send abstracts is extended to 13 February 2026 at the latest,by answering the filling in the following form :

The 11th NERIS Workshop took place at The Cumberland in London, as a satellite meeting of European Radiation Protection Week 2025, on 29th September for the full day (9:00 – 17:00).
It gathered around 50 participants and covered PIANOFORTE projects related to Emergency Preparedness Response & Recovery (EPRR) topics related to NERIS (CITISTRA, RRADEW, PREDICT, CATAPULT, GIROSCOPE) together with presentations on recent and new developmens related to EPRR.
The 16th NERIS General Assembly was held via online-meeting, on June 30th, 2025. The General Assembly was attended by NERIS Supporting Organisations and Members, to review activites from 2024 and discuss orientations for the platform. A new Management Board was elected.
